Leicester City moved up to fifth in the English Premier League with a 5-0 win over ten man Newcastle United following the sending off of midfielder Isaac Hayden two minutes before the half time break.

Hayden was sent off for a rash tackle with Leicester leading 1-0 courtesy of a Ricardo Pereira goal, further goals from Jamie Vardy who scored a brace and an own goal by Paul Dummet seems to have settled the game before Wilfred Ndidi stepped up with a goal of his own on the dot of full time.

Ndidi controlled a cross from Ben Chilwell with a nice touch before finishing with a shot on the turn for what was his second goal of the English Premier League season.

His other goal came in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea in August meaning he has now scored two goals in six games, the same amount of goals he scored last season from 38 games.

Meanwhile, the other Nigerian at the club kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute during the game with his goal in the Carabao Cup only good enough to earn him a spot on the bench.
