The international future of talented Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori has dominated the headlines recently with Nigeria keen on the services of both players who have represented England at youth level.
Abraham has played one game for the senior national team of England but he is still eligible for Nigeria and ahead of the next round of matches talks about inviting the striker who has seven goals this season by England or Nigeria has been very loud.
Tomori who has emerged as one of the revelation for Chelsea in defence in the early games of the season is also another who has been talked about as he is eligible for England, Nigeria and Canada and has played for Canada and England at youth level.
Reacting to a question from Nigerian journalist Oma Akatugba, Chelsea coach Frank Lampard said he won’t be interfering in the decision making of the duo as he believe it’s one the players have to agree with their parents.
”On their international futures, I don’t have much to say about that because it’s their choice. It depends on what they and their families want on their international career. ”If they seek my opinion, I can give an advice from a footballing sense. Other than that, I don’t have much to say”, the coach said.
