The Teranga Lions of Senegal fought from a goal down to hold five time World Champions Brazil to a 1-1 draw in an international friendly game played in Singapore earlier today.

Brazil took an early lead through Roberto Firmino who raced to a fine pass from Gabriel Jesus to chip the goalkeeper for the first goal of the game, a lead which was cancelled out by Senegal from their spot.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane made a strong solo run into the box and was upended for a spot kick which Diedhiou converted to level scores for the Africans as both teams head into the half time break levelled at 1-1.

Mane picked up from where he stopped in the first half using his strength, pace and skills to trouble the defence of Brazil but most times the finishing touch that should result in a goal was missing.

At the end of regulation time both teams settled for a 1-1 draw with Senegal teaching their fellow African brothers Nigeria some valuable lessons on how to approach the South American country when they meet on Sunday.
