The senior national team of Nigeria will today have their first training session ahead of their friendly game against Brazil on Sunday in Singapore, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Nigeria will take on Brazil, the second game the South Americans will play against an African opposition in a space of three days with Senegal their first opponent later today.
Players and officials of the Super Eagles will line up in individual kits for the session as their training kits and house wear will arrive Singapore after their first session which is expected to be light before the start of full pitch training tomorrow.
Officials of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) and other back room staff are expected to arrive Singapore at the earliest Thursday evening with the kits and other equipment needed for a proper session. Their arrival will however be after the team’s gym session according to reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com.
Their session tomorrow will be on the pitch with coach Gernot Rohr expected to test the formation he will use against the Brazilians on Sunday.
