The senior national team of Nigeria had three training sessions ahead of their Sunday friendly game against Brazil in Singapore, one was a gym session while the other two was on the pitch.

During the session, our contact in Singapore took personal interest in the dribbling ability of the players particularly the forwards and according to his assessment Club Brugge forward Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure completed more dribbles than any other.

Dennis was a nightmare to the defenders he was up against and his teammates kept on cheering him when he is up against any defender, the only thing missing in his game was the final pass to create a goal scoring chance but he was very impressive with his dribbling skills.

For the first time Samuel Chukwueze didn’t have title of the one with the most dribbles completed with Dennis shading him as he used a more cautios approach passing more than dribbling during the two sessions they had.

Moses Simon was perhaps the man with the balanced idea on how to get past his man with his decision to pass and sometimes dribble but only when it’s necessary. He however came third behind the duo of Dennis and Chukwueze. Notable mention should also be given to Alex Iwobi who was also completed lots of dribbles mostly with the way he turns away from his marker.
