The Super Eagles of Nigeria had their final training session ahead of their friendly game against Brazil on Sunday in Singapore earlier today, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Our contact in Singapore watched the team trained and gave his opinion about the three goalkeepers during the shooting drills and also test match the team played among themselves during the session.
Maduka Okoye – Looks a future prospect. Nice height, good reflex and also very good with his legs. He however doesn’t look too convincing with his ball handling as he dropped two simple crosses, one resulted to a goal scored by Paul Onuachu but overall did very well during the shooting practice.
Ikechukwu Ezenwa – Appears short of confidence and unfit apparently due to the fact that he has been inactive for a while since the end of the Nigeria Professional Football League season. Slow to react during shooting drills and also his reflex ranked lowest. A better goalkeeper than what he exhibited today.
Francis Uzoho – The best among the three in all areas. Sharp, agile and decisive. He didn’t put a single foot wrong. Surely benefiting from the regular run of games he is getting at Omonia Nicosia. Should start against Brazil and probably in subsequent games.
