Moses Simon looks to have won the battle to pair the duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze in the Super Eagles attack in the absence of Samuel Kalu, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The Nantes forward has taken his fine form in the French Ligue 1 for second place Nantes to the camp of the Super Eagles where he has so far excelled in the two training session the team had ahead of the games against Brazil on Sunday.
Simon has in each of the training session and his ability to track back and help in defence has also impressed the technical crew of the team and he will most likely start ahead of the trio of Peter Olayinka, Viv Solomon-Otabor and Dennis Emmanuel.
Coach Gernot Rohr has been impressed with his form and the coach even suggested at the pre match conference that the regular run of games he is getting at Nantes has helped him get back to his best physical condition ahead of the game.
He will most likely start on the left with Chukwueze on the right while Osimhen just like he did against Ukraine will operate as the main striker of the team.
