Villarreal sensation Samuel Chukwueze was highly praised by the Brazilian media for his performance for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 1-1 draw they played against Brazil in an international friendly played in Singapore on Sunday.
Chukwueze was on for 88 minutes and proved to be a menace to the defence of the Brazilian team with his direct running at their defenders and his skills which helps him to get past his markers with ease.
Although he didn’t score in the game, he did enough to gain the attention of the media in Brazil with the manner which he operated during the course of the game.
After the game, a review of the game by the media in Brazil rated the 20 year old as the player who made it hard for Brazil to commit body forward and one went as far as saying he plays like a Brazilian.
” He plays like a Brazilian, likes to run at defenders and also pick his man with passes. Maybe he should have scored, he however didn’t play badly and made it hard for the likes of Dani Alves and Lodi to join the attack”, O’globo wrote in their report of the game.
