Arsenal teen forward Bukayo Saka is one player who is proud of his Nigerian roots despite representing England at various youth levels, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

The forward who has broken into the first team of Arsenal this season has been linked with a future call up to the senior national team of England following his rise this season at Arsenal.

That has however not stopped the 18 year old from showing off his Nigerian heritage as a video of the forward made available to Owngoalnigeria.com has him speaking in yoruba language to one of his relatives.

Prior to the video he also made it clear in a video that he is a Nigerian and not a British-Nigerian when asked about his nationality. That answer also brought an end to speculation that he is from Ghana.

Sources close to the forward revealed that he is interested in switching allegiance to Nigeria and has even discussed it with Alex Iwobi but for now his main focus is to cement his spot in the first team of Arsenal.
