Out of favour Super Eagles left fullback Kingsley Madu has gotten his career back on track in Denmark with OB Odense following an injury spell that kept him out of action for 18 months.
Madu showed his ability in his first game for the first team of the Danish side with an assist in their 3-0 win over Horsens, a game which he lasted the entire duration and earned him a nomination in the Danish League team of the week.
His return to form will no doubt leave the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr delighted as he has been in the look out for options that can challenge regular left back Jamilu Collins for his spot.
Collins has cemented his spot as the first choice left back of the Super Eagles after displacing Leon Balogun who played the role at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the return of Madu will however push him to continue delivering at his best to keep his spot.
