Villarreal ace Santi Cazorla says Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze is developing properly after his breakthrough season at the club last season following his elevation from the youth team.
Chukwueze has become a mainstay of the main team, same way he has walked his way into the senior national team of Nigeria all owing to his performances last season.
This season he has also impressed for both club and country but Carzola reckoned their certain areas in his game he need to work on if he is to fufill the promises he is showing at the moment.
Initially nominated for the prestigious Golden Boy award, the forward was however dropped from the final shortlist of players for the award, however Carzorla believe he is on the path to greatness if he works on certain areas in his game.
” Chukwueze is talented but I have seen so many talented kids who didn’t reach the peak. He is always willing to learn and that has helped his progress so far. Some things he will learn as he grows but stuff like being decisive in the box he has to start now to be better in the future “, Carzola said.
