Nigeria international right full back Tyronne Ebuehi has stepped down a level to the U23 team of Benfica as he continue his long walk to fitness after missing the entirety of last season due to an injury picked up in pre season.

Signed from ADO Den Haag on a free, the 23 year old damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in pre season just before the start of last season and despite returning to full fitness he is yet to play for the first team.
