Kim Jungsoo the coach of the U17 team of South Korea has warned teams that will face the Nigerian team to be wary of what the team possess as the day for the start of the U17 World Youth Championship draws near.
The coach played against the Nigerian team in a friendly game which they lost 2-4 and he reckoned they lost to Nigeria because the boys of coach Manu Garba are very fast and skillful.
Nigeria is in group B alongside Australia, Ecuador and Hungary for the group stages of the tournament which they won in 2015, the last time they were at the tournament.
Their first game will be on Saturday against Hungary and Jungsoo has warned the Hungarians to be wary of the threat the Nigerian team carries.
Speaking through an interpreter, the coach said: ” Nigeria can play in different ways and also style. No wonder they have won this title severally at this level. This their present team have very fast and skillful players and it makes it hard to track them”, the coach said in a video interview made available to Owngoalnigeria.com.
