Coach of the Nigeria U23 team Imama Amapakabo has concluded his list of players for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off in Egypt on the 8th of November.

The team departed the country today for Egypt after a six weeks training camp in Abuja. Their first group game is on the 9th of November against Ivory Coast ‎before taking on Zambia and later South Africa in their final group game.

Due to the fact that the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) is yet to start, the coach has been forced to rely on players base abroad particularly the ones that were released by their respective clubs as the tournament falls outside the FIFA widow for international games.
