The coach of the U23 team of Nigeria Imama Amapakabo has revealed his lineup ahead of their first game against Ivory Coast at the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations taking place in Egypt.
Imama named regular first choice goalkeeper Adamu Abubakar in goal with the quartet of Izuchukwu Anthony, Stephen Godfrey, Sincere Seth and Olisa Ndah playing as the back four.
Seth will play from the right full back position while Godfrey who plays for Isloch of Belarus will operate as the left full back with the duo of Ndah and Anthony occupying the central defence positions.
In midfield, Spartaks Jurmala of Latvia Aliyu Adams will play as the defensive midfielder with Huesca new signing Kelechi Nwakali playing as the central midfielder while Ndidfreke Effiong is stationed behind the main striker.
In attack, Imama picked the trio of Bright Enobakhare, Blessing Olabiran and Orji Okwonkwo with Okwonkwo playing as the top striker flanked by Enobakhare and Olabiran as left and right wingers respectively.
