Super Eagles of Nigeria wing forward Moses Simon says he won’t be bringing his loan spell with Nantes to a halt in January as he has no plans of returning to his parent owners Levante until the summer.

Simon was voted the player of the month by fans of the club after four goals in three games which includes a hattrick against Paris FC in the French Cup. He was presented with the award yesterday before their 2-3 loss to St. Etienne in the league.

He departed France for Nigeria yesterday to honour his call up to the Super Eagles for their upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations games against Benin Republic and Lesotho respectively.

His future at Nantes has been debated with many hinting at a possible return to Levante in January owing to his fine form but Simon says he has no such plans as he is focused on ending the season with Nantes on a high.

” I won’t break my loan in January. My plan is to stay here and make the best use of my time. Nantes is a very ambitious team and I want to make history with the team at the end of the season. I’m still a player of Levante but for now Nantes have my full attention “, Simon told Owngoalnigeria.com.
