Coach of French Ligue 1 side Lille says Victor Osimhen scores even when he is not at his best as seen in their 1-0 win over Dijon in the Ligue 1 over the weekend where he scored the only goal of the game.

Osimhen converted from the spot for his 10th goal of the season ‎with 8 coming in the Ligue 1 for Lille, the team he joined in the summer from Belgium side Charleroi where he spent last season on loan from Wolfsburg and scored 22 goals before the club made his deal permanent and later traded him to Lille for around €12m.

Christopher Galtier the coach of Lille while expressing his happiness over the win against Dijon that ended the winless run his team has endured praised Osimhen for coolly dispatching the penalty that gave his side all three points.

” We haven’t been at our level for a while now so it was nice to finally pick up a win after not doing so in some games. The idea is to do better in subsequent games and continue with the same spirit. Osimhen scores when he has the chance no matter how hard it is for him in a game”, Galtier said.

” He has goals in him that’s why it’s easy for him and he is very young with some room for improvement. It’s a pleasure to work with him as he is a model professional “.

Already top teams in Europe have sounded Lille on the possibility of signing the forward but the club are adamant that he won’t be up for sale after this season same idea the forward also shares as he want to consolidate his form before deciding on his next move.
