Ajayi was on for the entire duration of the game which his team won to remain top of the English Championship and also keep their hope of securing promotion to the English Championship alive.
24 year old Ajayi won 14 aerial duels, had 40 touches with two successful tackles. four clearances and completed 86.5% of his passes as West Brom extend their unbeaten run to nine games. He was later rated the man of the match.
He got a rating of 7.76 out of 10 and that happens to be the highest ever this season for any defender in the English Championship. The rating further confirmed his reputation as one of the best centre back in the English second tier.
Already his performance since joining West Brom from relegated Rotherham FC has helped him to cement a spot in the heart of the central defence of Nigeria where he has formed a formidale partnership with William Troost-Ekong.
