On loan Levante forward Moses Simon has emerged as a key player for French Ligue 1 side Nantes and his performance has not gone unnoticed by top teams in Europe including English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Simon has played in all of the 15 games Nantes have played since the completion of his loan move from Levante became official. He has in the process scored two league goals with five assists to his name.

In Cup games he has also played in their only game so far and he scored a hattick in their 8-0 win over Paris FC in October. A form which has already made the Ligue 1 side to begin the process of activating the clause that will see them sign him permanently in the summer when his loan deal expires.

Their plan will be to trade him off immediately and he could be heading to Tottenham Hotspur who have been tracking him for a while now. He was heavily linked with a move to them while he was at Belgium side Gent.

Scouts from Spurs watched the 24 year old over the weekend where he bagged an assist to help his team to a 1-0 win over Dijon playing from the left wing for the entire duration of the game.

New coach of Spurs Mourinho is a big fan of wingers like Moses Simon who can help out defensively and the scouts where there on his orders to assess the wing forward who can also play as a wingback before deciding on an official move.
