Spanish Laliga side Villarreal have loaned out their newly signed Nigerian trio Chukwuka Johnson, Aimufua Junior and Johnson Kalu to leagues where they will be able to get game time that they quicken their development.
Chukwuka who is a right winger has been loaned out to Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes where he will play for their B team who are playing in the second division in Portugal unlike in Spain where he would have been turning out for the B team in the 4th division.
The duo of Junior and Kalu are set to be sent on loan as well to teams with interest in their services coming from teams in Slovenia and Czech Republic but a decision is yet to be reached on their potential destination.
Speaking on the development, their intermediary Babawo Mohammed told Owngoalnigeria.com that the idea is for their development to be hasten as they won’t face much competition at their loan side like they are facing at Villarreal at the moment.
” The decision to loan them out is entirely that of Villarreal which is for the good of the players. They need constant game time and moving to a league where the pressure and demand is less will no doubt do them well. It will quicken their development and hopefully they will return to Villarreal as better players”.
