23 year old Nigerian forward Jesse Sekidika has secured a January transfer move from second division Turkish side Eskisehirspor to league giants Galatasaray after scoring eight goals in the first stanza of the league where he played in sixteen games.
Sekidika passed a routine medical and he will be unveiled tomorrow as the first signing of the club in the January transfer window and it could be followed by the signing of another Nigerian in Henry Onyekuru.
Sekidika only joined Eskisehirspor last year from Serbian side FK Napredak Krusevac for a fee in the region of €450,000 on a four year deal but after 18 months he is on his way to the top division for a fee close to €2 million , Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Comfortable as a forward or on the wings, the Port Harcourt born is widely expected to settle down quickly to life at the club due to his blistering pace and also ability to play in more than one role as shown this season.
