Wilfred Ndidi won’t be leaving Leicester City for a fee less than £80m according to one of his representatives in an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com following rumors of a bid from Arsenal.
Ndidi according to several reports is high on the priority list of coach of Arsenal Mikel Arteta and a transfer fee of around £40m has been quoted as what it will take to price the defensive midfielder from the gunners.
Reacting to the story, one of his representatives said they laughed over the fee mentioned when the news broke out because he is worth twice that amount if not more judging by the current inflation in the transfer market.
He said Ndidi’s age and abilities on the pitch means teams should be ready to cough out huge sum of money before they will even get a listening ear from Leicester City who are not in anyway opened to the idea of losing their price asset.
” I don’t know where that story came from but all I know is that it will take twice the 40 million pounds that is been mentioned for Leicester City to even listen to any club on Ndidi. Leicester are not easy to negotiate with when you consider how much they sold Riyadh Mahrez, Ngolo Kante and recently Harry Maguire”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” For Ndidi the idea is that he is not available for sale in January and even in the summer it will take a very huge amount of money going by the current inflated market that we have in the world of transfers. Ndidi is on a different level and clubs know it”.
