31 year old former Nigeria international Brown Ideye has caught the attention of Turkish giants Besiktas after his recent good run in front of goal for modest Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Ideye has scored six goals from 15 league games this season while in the Greek Cup he has a goal to his name as well this season and that has expectedly generated interest in his services.
Aris won’t hold back the forward if clubs slap in a reasonable amount for his service in the ongoing transfer window as his one year deal signed last summer will expire in the summer of 2020.
Owngoalnigeria.com understands that Besiktas has been a long time admirer of the former West Bromwich Albion record signing and he is back on their radar after sorting out his club career which stagnated when he terminated his contract with Chinese side Tianjin Teda.
He was inactive for a season but this season his form has mirrored same that earned him big moves to West Brom and Olympiakos few years ago before his decision to move to China where it didn’t work as planned for him.
