Out of favour Nigeria international Uche Agbo has agreed a loan deal to return to Spain and join second division side Deportivo La Coruna bringing an end to his loan spell with Portuguese side SC Braga, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Agbo joined Braga in the summer on loan from Belgium outfit Standard Liege but the 24 year old has so far struggled to get game time which has dimmed the chances of the club activating the option of purchasing him fully at the end of his loan spell.
A return to Spain where he spent the second half of last season on loan to Rayo Vallecano is well underway and terms has already been agreed with Deportivo La Coruna for his transfer. All that is left is for Standard Liege to formalise the process of his switch by terminating the loan deal agreement with Braga.
Agbo has played just seven games this season for Braga and he will be hoping for more game time at Deportivo La Coruna who are currently battling to remain in the Spanish second division as they are placed 21st on the 22 team table. They are only above Racing Santander with two points.
Deportivo La Coruna are counting on him to help bring stability to their midfield that has struggled in recent games and that has account for their poor point tally of 21 from as many as 23 matches played this season.
