Villarreal captain and legend Santi Cazorla says Samuel Chukwueze can be the best player in the world if he continue to progress the way he is doing at the moment and work hard on other areas of his game.
Chukwueze was back to his usual best yesterday with a goal for Villarreal in their 3-0 win over Girona in the Copa Del Rey bar his goal he was by far the best player on the pitch for his team as he glide past his markers with ease.
His performance made it almost impossible for Girona to mount any meaningful attack from defence as they had to keep an eye on him and it has earned him praises from Carzola.
” You can see that the talent is there. He is applying it properly and also willing to learn new things. The hardwork he is putting in he has to maintain it and continue to develop here because he can be the best in the world “, Cazorla said after the game against Girona.
This season Chukwueze has scored just four goals and three assists in 21 games in all competitions and that is one area of his game Cazorla believe he should work on if he is to fufill his potential.
