The delay in the start of contract extension talks between the coach of the Super Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has caused lot of concerns for followers of the senior national team of Nigeria.
Contract extension talks were suppose to begin in January but it has been shifted till February admist talks of the NFF unwilling to extend his deal when it expires due to issues not related to results which has been fair to be an extent.
Per the terms of the deal the coach signed with the NFF he is free to speak to other countries since he is in the final six months of his deal but the Franco-German coach says he is to blame for the delay in starting talks over extending his contract.
According to Rohr, he was suppose to meet with the president of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) but he had a dental surgery which stopped him from meeting Amaju Pinnick in London two weeks ago for preliminary talks on extending his deal with Nigeria.
