None of these nations have ever played in the World Cup. However, Mauritania and Madagascar have improved their world FIFA ranking in the recent past. The winner is Pot 3 is hard to predict.

• Pot 4: It is made up of Djibouti, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Sudan, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Togo. Angola and Togo competed in the last two World Cup qualifications. Liberia and Malawi eliminated Sierra Leone and Botswana in the first round of qualifiers.

The second draw of African qualifiers to the 2022 World Cup occurred in Cairo, Egypt on January 21, 2020. It will comprise 40 countries.
