Jordan Attah’s supercilious start to 2020 in Sweden showed no signs of slowing down, as the young striker bagged a hatrick to power his side, Ostersunds to a comfortable 4-0 thumping of GAIS few days ago.
Attah drew first blood after 20 minutes with a sumptuous finish to put his side ahead in the encounter. Fifteen minutes later, Ostersunds won a penalty that was calmly executed by Kroon to double the lead of the home side.
Just before half time, Attah was on his imperious best again as he effortlessly converted a pass from Fritzson, to double his tally and help Ostersunds go 3-0 at the break.
GAIS returned from the break looking charged, as they tried mounting a comeback in the game, but spurned a few chances. Attah grabbed his hatrick at the Jamtkraft Arena as he capitalized from slack defending to fire home this third goal of the game and Ostersunds’ fourth.
Kadiri twisted his ankle after a bad fall from the second goal (Header) but managed it to get his third before he called the technical to take him off.
The impressive attacker had scored a goal and assisted another in his team’s first Cup game six days ago. The ex Sunsel forward has now scored 8 goals in 7 matches.
It is feared the ex Sunsel sensation will be out for 2-3 weeks after a knock to his ankle in the game. He is set to see a podalogist in the Eastern Swedish region of Umea to ascertain the gravity of the injury.
