Spanish Laliga side Levante has told clubs interested in acquiring the services of Nigeria international Moses Simon to look elsewhere as they are keen on bringing him back after the expiration of his loan deal in France with Nantes.
24 year old Simon left the club on loan after a season and at Nantes he has emerged as one of the stars of the league with nine goals in all competitions this season. In the league he has five goals and five assists.
His form alerted top teams around Europe with fellow Ligue 1 side Lyon the favorite to clinch his signing in the summer when his loan deal expires. Nantes are also keen on hanging on to him by triggering the option of signing him permanently at the end of his loan.
Their plan which many said involved selling him almost immediately after signing him permanently has however suffered a set back with Levante making a u-turn on the decision to let him leave when the transfer window opens for summer business.
Already the club has visited Simon in France where they made it known to him that he will be an integral part of their team next season should he agree to return to the team. His contract with them is still valid till the summer of 2023.
