Shanghai Shenhua Mistakenly Announce Manchester United Permanent Signing Of Ighalo

Chinese Superliga team Shanghai Shenhua yesterday gave a hint about the future of Odion Ighalo at Manchester United while annoucing the signing of his fellow Nigerian Obafemi Martins as his replacement.

Martins will pen a two year deal with the team he last played for in China before leaving a year ago, the club mistakenly announced that he will replace Ighalo who has joined Manchester United on a permanent deal.

The announcement was quickly brought down by the club before putting another post on the potential signing of Martins which was independent of Ighalo’s loan deal at Manchester United which will run out in few months time.

However talks in England has it that his deal will be made permanent following his performances so far and talks over a permanent deal is already in the works with the Chinese team set to make 15 million pounds as transfer fee.

Already they have confirmed the signing of Martins, the 33 year old Nigerian who made his mark at the club before injury curtailed his stay but after making a full recovery he is back at the club where they will be hoping he re enact the form that made him a big hit at the club.
