When asked if the NFF would also pay Super Eagles players in Naira, after it announced that coach Gernot Rohr would no more be paid in Dollars but in Naira, the NFF Supremo said “the players are paid their bonus in Naira when they play in Nigeria, then when they play abroad, they’re paid in dollars but that can even change”.

Pinnick added that “We are going to take so many difficult decisions that will go across board. We (NFF) have to promote our fiscal policy. If the Government is saying we need to strengthen our Naira, we must inadvertently support the government. We are an integral part of the Government”.

He remarked that in the post COVID-19 era will be major changes and tough decisions will be taken to re-position the Federation. “There are several things we would cut down on. We have to look at the reality of what is going on, this is a global force majeure”.
