French Ligue 1 side Lille have according to reports in France receive an offer of 60 million euros for their Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen who is also a target for English Premier League side Chelsea.
Napoli will reportedly offer around €60m for Osimhen according to respected French journalist Manu Lonjon and several sports outlets are encouraging Lille to accept the bid if it is lodged upon the resumption of football activities.
They reckon with top clubs already feeling the effect of the Covid19 pandemic on their finances, Lille will do better to accept the offer in order to keep their finances steady and it will also help them to invest in other areas of their squad.
However Osimhen seems to favour a move to the English Premier League with Chelsea the team he supported as a teenager his preferred destination but they are yet to officially lodge a bid for his services.
Osimhen who scored against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League this season has taken to life in the French Ligue 1 with 18 goals and six assists this season from 38 games in all competitions before football activities was suspended in the country.
