
Representatives of Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen are lock in talks with Liverpool over a potential move in the summer according to an exclusive by Le10sport.com.
The forward who is hot in demand following an impressive debut campaign with Ligue 1 side Lille where he has scored 18 goals from a total of 36 games in all competitions before the season was halted by the coronavirus crisis.
Liverpool and his representatives are locked in talks after the forward gave his approval for the talks and if all goes as planned, Liverpool wil reportedly make an offer for the 21 year old who is reportedly valued at 80 million euros by the French side.
Napoli are also said to be preparing a bid of 60 million euros for the forward who is also on the list of Manchester United targets in the summer as well as that of Chelsea who are thought to be keen on securing the services of his Lille teammate Gabriel.
For now his priority is to move to England and not to Germany, Spain or Italy where teams have also made inquires about his availability. Lille are resigned to losing the forward in the summer.
President of the club Gerard Lopez confirmed that he has already received an offer for the forward but didn’t specify the club that has made a bid for the forward. For now only the English teams can afford Lille’s 80 million euros price tag.
