The top scorer in the recently voided Dutch Eredivisie Cyriel Dessers says he will only be open to a move away from Heracles if he gets assurances that he will get playing time from any of the teams interested in his services.
24 year old Dessers finished was top scorer with 15 league goals from 26 games with a further five assists before the league was declared null and void by the Dutch FA due to the coronavirus crisis.
His form earned him a call up to the senior national team of Nigeria but the forward who is also eligible for Belgium was denied the chance of making his debut for Nigeria due to the cancellation of international games in light of the global pandemic.
Already he has attracted interest from teams in other leagues due to his feat and even in January he saw a move to Celta Vigo broke down due to what Heracles are demanding as transfer fee for him back then.
Now with the season in the Netherlands halted, attention has once again returned to the future of the forward at the club that he joined last summer from fellow Dutch League side Utrecht for a fee less than a million euros.
” I left Utrecht because I needed to play and prove that I belong to the top and I have done that with Heracles. My next move has to be to a club where I will get assurances of regular game time. Firstly to continue my progress and also to keep my spot in the senior national team of Nigeria “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
