Little known Nentaka Dembele who emerged as one of Nigeria’s most talented teen prospect following a talent discovery tournament which was held in Jos a few months ago has been tipped for greatness by the famous talent spotter coach Bros.
Several players from different parts of the country were screened during a talent spotting tournament and at the end the best players were selected under strict observation by some scouts from Europe and other parts of the world.
The leading name on the book of scouts in attendance was Nentaka Dembele, a 17 year old pacy wide player blessed with quick feet and uncanny abilities to go past his opponents with ease.
His bag of tricks while on the ball can easily pass as magic in motion which should not be much of a surprise as he
hails from the famous Jos talent factory GBS academy, renowned for producing top talents like Ahmed Musa, Hilary Gong, Moses Simon, Samuel Kalu and others.
Dembele appears to be of a very special pedigree with GBS Head of Operation Ahmed Ibrahim popularly known as “Coach Bros” referring to him as a talent that will excel in the nearest future .
“I have seen many talent in my time, I groomed players like Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Kalu Samuel and others from between the age of 14 years to 18 and I knew they will be successful footballers because they had something special but I tell you this, I have never seen a bold and talented young winger like Dembele.
“This boy is the best talent I have ever seen with my two eyes. He is made for the very best in football and with his big talent he will go very far in football”, the eagle eyed talent spotter said.
Dambele who scored ten goals in five games which include two hatricks, a brace and two penalties in the 5 games was as expected named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, despite missing the final game of the tournament no thanks to a badly timed tackle he recieved in the semi final.
Several Nigerian Professional Football League teams have queued up to loan the winger ahead of the start of next season.
However GBS academy appear to have opted to keep the youngster at the academy where he will recieve tailor made training until he is eligible to travel abroad when he turns 18 sometimes around next year as some European scouts present at the tournament have already registered their interest in his services.
