Ovie Ejaria is the name most Nigerians are quick to mention when talking about English Championship side Reading FC as he has fully committed to the senior national team of Nigeria after representing England at youth level.
While Ejaria is waiting for the final nod by FIFA to play for Nigeria, there is another Nigerian at the club who has caught the attention of coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr .
He is 18 year old Michale Olise who at one time played in two friendly games for the U18 team of France hence won’t be needing a switch of allegiance since it was a friendly game.
A left footed midfielder, he impressed last season for Reading and was a subject of interest from Leeds United but was priced out of a move to the newly promoted side by the English Championship side.
Already contacts has been made with him over the interest of Nigeria and with doubts surrounding the availability of Joe Aribo for the next set of friendly games. Olise could be in line for a call up.
He is the like for like replacement for the Rangers of Scotland midfielder as they both play with same left foot aside the fact that they are both central midfielders.
