WAFU U20- Ten Man Ghana Secure 1-0 Win Over Nigeria, Flying Eagles Near Exit

Ghana beat their U20 counterparts from Nigeria to progress to the semi final of the WAFU tournament while Nigeria are on the verge of exiting the tournament.

After drawing 1-1 with Côte d’Ivoire in their opening game, the Nigerian team needed at least a draw to stay alive in the tournament but a late free kick ended their hope.

The wasteful Nigeria team will now hope on Ghana thrashing Ivory Coast by a higher margin for them to progress to the next round with Ivory Coast needing just a draw.
