On loan Chelsea forward Ike Ugbo scored both goals for Cercle Brugge as they let slip a two goal lead to lose 3-4 against Charleroi in a dramatic top division league game in Belgium.
Ugbo scored in the 17th and 25th minute of the game respectively to take his tally for the season to ten goals in 14 league games since his move to the team in the summer.
The 22 year old is just three goals away from his last season tally of 13 goals for Roda JC in the Dutch Eredivisie. This is his fifth loan spell with his path to the first team of Chelsea blocked by several established stars.
Reports this week indicate that he has already signed up his papers for a switch of allegiance from England to Nigeria after representing England at several youth levels.
He is highly rated by the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with coach of the team Gernot Rohr seriously searching for a credible back up to main striker Victor Osimhen.
For now Paul Onuachu has deputized in the absence of Osimhen but he has failed to bring his form in Belgium where he has 14 league goals to the senior national team of Nigeria with just one goal in nine games.
