Per a report in Germany Bayern Leverkusen are interested in signing Nigeria international forward Peter Olayinka.
Kicker reports that as part of Bayern Leverkusen plans if one of the trio of Moussa Diaby, Leon Bailey or Karim Bellarabi leaves the team, Olayinka is among the players they are looking at as replacement.
The possibility of signing him this January is very high according to same source as they expect Slavia Prague to lower the €10 million they placed on him in the summer when they try to recruit him.
Although he isn’t the only player they are looking at , he is for now the one that looks more likely to be signed owing to his impressive performance against them in the Europa League where he scored the lone goal to hand his side a 1-0 win.
The ex Gent forward still has two more years to run on his deal at the club where he has scored a total of 17 goals in 86 games over the course of his two years stay at the club. This season he has 6 in 18 games.
