Former top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League Sunusi Ibrahim is making bright his chances of getting a permanent deal at English Championship side Watford.
The forward who recently turned 18 has been training with the U23 of the English side and also taking part in test games since his arrival in the country in November.
Owngoalnigeria.com gathered that he has played in five test games with the U23s and he posted impressive performance in each of the games including the game he played alongside William Troost Ekong when the Nigeria international arrived the club in October.
“ He is very strong in duels and like to take on his man. For a lad with his kind of size he is surprisingly very quick and shoots really well. Many people who have watched him are saying same thing about his fine performances”, a source who have watched the player in Watford colours revealed.
He is yet to be offered a deal according to what we gathered as they are still running the rule on him and most importantly searching for a team where he can go on loan and blossom as he isn’t eligible for a work permit in England now.
