Renown transfer expert Fabrizo Romano has vehemently denied linking Nigerian striker Atto Abbas with a move to English Premier League giants Arsenal.

Turkish media outfit Fanatik.com.tr quoted Romano in the news linking the Kasimpasa Nigerian forward with the Gunners in the January transfer window after tracking him for some years.

“This kid has great potential. A name that has a great command of his feet. It moves very easily with the ball. At the same time, he is a fast and agile football player”, he was quoted as saying.

Romano took to Twitter to refute the quotes insisting that he has never spoken about the 22 year old Abbas who was once upon a time linked with a move to German side RB Leipzig “ I have never said it in my life”, he said while reacting to a post made by an Arsenal friendly twitter handle @ZRAFC over the news where their quoted Fanatik.com.tr as their source.

The case of Atto Abbas is one that has so many doubts surrounding it as he has no known record with Kasimpasa bar news about his exploits with the club which are usually without evidence.

Sometimes around last year, a mail was sent to this portal on same player linking him with a move to RB Leipzig but upon our checks with respected players database outfits there was no record of his exploits with Kasimpasa as claimed in the mail.

His name is not in any of Kasimpasa’s record on line and even their official website has no record of any player with the name Atto Abbas.
