Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr made no mention of Fulham defender Tosin Adarabiyio while discussing Nigerian players at the club.
As reported by this portal, the ex Manchester City trainee is yet to decide on his international future insisting that he is focused on helping Fulham beat the drop.
Rohr has more or less confirmed the report by shunning the central defender while speaking on the Nigerian players at the team struggling to beat the drop.
The Franco-German coach while explaining what went wrong with fringe Super Eagles striker Josh Maja at Bordeaux after his brace at Fulham didn’t mention Tosin among Nigerians at the club.
“Coming back now. I saw him a lot at Bordeaux he was playing then the new coach cane and say he is not good enough. He returned to England and score two goals . So we hope so he can continue and save Fulham. We have two other players in Fulham”, he told Newscentral.
It’s clear that the two other players bar Maja he is referring to has to be Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman who according to Rohr’s assistant Tunde Adelakun has already filled for his switch of allegiance from England to Nigeria.
