Al Ahly Nigerian winger Junior Ajayi has emerged as the team’s creative midfielder in their last three games with coach Pitso Mosimane playing him in the number ten role.
25 year old Ajayi has responded to the responsibility by churning impressive performances particularly in the last league game against Gaish.
He scored a brace in the game but beyond that his all round performance made him a threat all through and as expected earned him praises from fans of the team.
The one cap Nigeria international is in his 5th year at the club with a contract which will run out next year but there are talks of a possible extension of his deal.
His performance in the number ten role will no doubt give him a look in by coach of the Nigerian team if he continues to impress as the team looks thin on options in that position.
