Nigeria international wing forward Moses Simon scored his 4th Ligue 1 goal of the season but ended up on the losing side with Nantes losing 1-2 to Reims.
Simon headed home the opening goal of the game but just like it was in their last two games they let their lead slip but this time around they lost all three points as opposed to when they picked a point against Marseille and Nimes respectively.
For the Nigerian he is now one goal short of his last season tally of five league goals with three games less than the total he played last season before the coronavirus pandemic brought about a halt in football in France.
Safe to say he is having a better season than last time out where his team exceeded all expectations using him as their focal point during his loan spell from Levante before signing permanently this summer.
Nantes are second from bottom with newly appointed coach Antoine Kombouare their third coach this season following the sacking of Raymond Domenech , who spent just six weeks as coach of the team after failing to win in any of the seven games he coached.
