As the summer transfer window approaches one player who will no doubt be in high demand is Leicester City Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
Ndidi has enjoyed another stellar season with the Foxes who are pushing to qualify for the UEFA Champions League after missing out last season on the final day of the season.
Sitting in 3rd with 56 points, one more than 4th placed West Ham, there are reports that if they fail to qualify for next season UEFA Champions League it could lead to some key players departing the team.
With seven games left to play this season, Ndidi is among the stars that have been tipped to leave the club in the summer, if they fail to make it into Europe’s elite club tournament but his representatives says his departure won’t be cheap.
“Ndidi won’t be cheap and what I know is that only few teams can afford to sign him because he is highly valued by Leicester City and he still has many years ahead of him.Mind you he is 24.
“His performance has also gone up this season that will naturally trigger an increase in his value. He is not untransferable but he won’t be cheap”, his representative told Owngoalnigeria.com.
