Captain of the senior national team of Nigeria Ahmed Musa has resumed training with Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars.
Musa signed a short term deal which will run till when the summer transfer window opens in Europe when he is expected to return to Europe to continue his career.
He will still retain his stature as a free player and one of the terms of his deal is that he isn’t going to earn a penny playing for the team where he made his mark before moving to Europe eleven years ago.
Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that in the two sessions he has had with the team so far, the focus has been on his 2019 Gelandewagen, a brand of Mercedes Benz which cost 120 million Naira.
Also players of the team take turn to have photo with the Super Eagles captain who was earning $650,000 a month at Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr before he terminated his deal with the club last year.
