Former Nigeria U17 ace Akinkumi Amoo has been told to shun interest from English Premier League side Leicester City and instead join Ajax.
Amoo has caught the eyes this season with blistering displays for Hammarby and as expected it has led to interest from top teams around Europe.
The 18 year old has scored five goals this season in ten games in all competitions. Beyond his goals he has grown in his all round play much better than when he played for Nigeria at the 2019 U17 World Cup.
Hammarby co owned by Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic are relying on the AC Milan point man who played a role in Amoo signing for the club to help out in the decision making for the teen.
Ibrahimovic we exclusively gathered is keen on the player’s further development hence want him to focus on a move to Ajax instead of moving to a team like Leicester City in the English Premier League.
Both teams have all been credited with an interest in the left footed teen but no bid has been submitted yet. Offers will likely come at the end of the season when teams know their budget for the season.
