Almeria of Spain are feeling uneasy over the interest of legendary football striker Ronaldo De Lima in their star forward Sadiq Umar, Owngoalnigeria.comunderstands.
The Real Valladolid owner has made two attempts to lure the Nigerian to his team but to no avail but with the summer transfer window approaching, the fear is that Sadiq might have a change of heart.
Concerns in the camp of Almeria is bothering on the fact that if they don’t go up and Valladolid come in with an offer, it could play into the head of the 24 years old who has scored 18 goals this season with six assists.
Real Valladolid are also not entirely safe from relegation as they are 17th on the La Liga table. One point ahead of the duo of Huesca and Elche who are placed 18th and 19th respectively on 30 points.
Sadiq’s immediate desire still remains firing Almeria back to the La Liga but if that doesn’t work he could be tempted to try something new particularly as he want to play at a level, where he can be an option for the senior national team of Nigeria.
