FC Midtjylland Nigerian Frank Onyeka has left Nigeria for Denmark where he will undergo his medicals ahead of a switch to newly promoted English Premier League side Brentford.
As reported by this portal yesterday, the last set of details have been ironed out yesterday and he will depart Nigeria where he is on holiday to Copenhagen where he will undergo the medical.
He will arrive Denmark later today and the medical will take place tomorrow for the move which is rumoured to be around £13.5 million but we gathered it’s way less than that. A fee in the region of £7 million is thought to be the true value of the deal.
The one cap Nigeria senior international player will after his medicals tomorrow bid his teammates goodbye with Brentford expected to announce his signing tomorrow as well.
23 year old Onyeka will become the second Nigerian player to move to a newly promoted English Premier League team in the last 48 hours if as expected his move goes through. Emmanuel Dennis joined another newly promoted side in Watford yesterday.
