Zaidu was equally linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers when Nuno Espírito Santo was the coach but according to a source close to the player, he has been told to forget about any move away from the Portuguese side.
“I think it’s normal for him to be linked with a move away after the season he had but he isn’t going anywhere. A discussion was held with his agent where it was agreed that another season with Porto is the best for now”, he told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
Meanwhile Porto have set their sight on getting another left back and have according to reports want to sign Palmeiras left back Matias Vina.
Vina who is valued at €10 million is expected to challenge Zaidu for the left back slot which he made his last season which was his first at club following his move from Santa Clara last summer.
